We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Pividor as a new Superintendent of Student Achievement and Well-Being, effective August 1, 2025.
Kim has served for 24 years in public education with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). During her time with the TDSB she has served as an Acting Superintendent, supporting a family of schools, as well as school administrators with developing professional learning and school improvement plans, while strengthening their leadership skills. She has taught Kindergarten to Grade 8 and was a Centrally Assigned Principal.
As a Kindergarten to Grade 12 Centrally Assigned Principal for School Improvement, Kim led a team of Kindergarten to Grade 12 Teacher Coaches, Early Reading Coaches, Community Support Workers and Student Equity Program Advisors. She is committed to utilizing research and data informed practices to support system-wide change and improve educational outcomes for all students.
“We are pleased to welcome Kim Pividor to the WRDSB to support student achievement and well-being,” said Scott Miller, Director of Education for the WRDSB. “Kim’s leadership experience will be a great addition to the Waterloo Region District School Board.”
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her large extended family and friends; she has a love of the arts and can often be found working on knitting a new blanket or reading a book. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Kim is excited to join the WRDSB and continue to promote student and community voice.
We look forward to welcoming Kim to the WRDSB and for the leadership she will provide for students, staff and community, in service of supporting student achievement and well-being.
