Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Lackner Woods P.S.!

For those students returning – welcome back! To our new families joining us for the first time, welcome to the neighbourhood.

School begins on September 4 at 9:15AM. Our staff will greet students on the tarmac at the back of the school to begin our new school year. We will have a central area with one of our canopies set up if you are unsure of where to go or if you have not been able to access your homeroom class information. Please look for signs that staff are holding to find your class line up area. We will also paint the class codes on the tarmac for all to look for.

To comply with privacy legislation, class lists will no longer be posted on the outside windows or doors of your child’s school. At your convenience starting September 2 and throughout the day, you will be able to determine your child’s homeroom teacher using School-Day. When you log into your account, click “Schools and Groups” on the blue left hand side menu, then click “Your Classes.” This will show the classes and groups your child is linked to within our school. Homeroom names are in the form of K1, 1C, 4/5A etc. . Note – Class lists may change up until the morning of Friday, September 6, 2024, due to ongoing registrations. At times, reorganization also happens within September due to class numbers, we try to make this as seamless as possible if it does occur.

If you are having trouble logging into School-Day, click on “Forgot your password?” and follow the steps.  Or contact School-Day support by calling 1-855-253-1731.

DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL OFFICE TO RESET YOUR SCHOOL-DAY PASSWORD.  We are unable to do this.

Once you have determined the homeroom, you can find the name of the homeroom teacher using the following list:
